In a British study, cyclists who consumed the caffeine equivalent of a 12 oz cup of succulent goodness felt less leg pain and had a lower rate of perceived exertion than those who skipped the boost. Would you like to know why??? Well it seems that caffeine blocks the production of pain-stimulating adenosine.
